We are thrilled to announce that the Municipality of Bluewater has generously offered us a new space within the Village for our Food Bank! This new home will allow us to better serve our clients, but it requires significant construction work before we can open our doors for monthly shopping.
We have some money for capital expenditures in reserve, and some folks have already been donating to our building fund, but we’re going to need a fair bit more. We’re asking our community, both local and distant, to help us out. Would you be willing to make a one-time donation to our building and renovation fund to help us make ready our new home? All donations over $25.00 will receive a tax receipt.

The Bayfield Area Food Bank (BAFB) has proudly served Bayfield and the surrounding communities for over 20 years.
Hunger knows no boundaries. It doesn’t just touch those at the edges of society—it can strike anyone in our community. It could be the family living next door, the child quietly sitting in class, or the friendly face that serves you at your favorite local business. These aren’t strangers; they are our friends, our neighbours, and our loved ones. They are single parents juggling impossible choices, mature adults on fixed incomes, and individuals facing unexpected hardships.
They need more than just food—they need compassion, understanding, and a community that stands with them in their time of need.
